2/2/2024 0 Comments Reforging a legendary diablo 3Blizzard says this should present players with difficult decisions-getting your hands on a particular power could mean having to sacrifice an item with great stats. When you extract a power, you'll get the "most potent" version of it. At any time, you can have one power from each of these categories equipped, and you're free to swap between them from the Cube at any time. Depending on the type of item they originated from, powers will be assigned to either the weapon, armor, or jewelry category. We now know that doing so consumes the item in the process, but permanently adds the power in question to a collection. Blizzard today more fully explained exactly what the new item is capable of, and it sounds like a big deal.īlizzard had already indicated that the Cube can be used to extract powers from Legendary items and then equip those powers. This is a huge mistake, as first of all the weapon range on a primal is always maxed, but more importantly, the "flavor element" on a weapon actually makes NO DIFFERENCE whatsoever.Among the additions in the upcoming 2.3.0 patch for Diablo III is Kanai's Cube. I see this ruining most primals in the case where someone rerolls the DAMAGE RANGE on their weapon to a different flavor text (poison, lightning, fire, etc.). So in this case, the safe and best roll would be Cooldown Reduction -> Area Damage. This is because the other stats are just as vital, so you always wanna roll off the non-important stat specific to your build (this is why it's complicated, cause every build requires diff stat priorities it just takes experience to know what they are). You get primal gloves, and they are Dex/Crit/Crit/Cooldown Reduction.Ī good way to ruin the primal in this case, would be to roll ANY other stat to Area Dmg OTHER than the Cooldown Reduction. The main risk of rerolling a stat on a primal is rerolling the WRONG one.įor a overly basic example say you play Monk and the best stats for gloves are Dex/Crit/Crit/Area Dmg.
